Accounting & Payroll

Make the monthly routine work for you.

01

Records you can trace

Organise sales, purchases, receipts and payment evidence so that transactions can be recorded with supporting documents, rather than reconstructed at year end.

02

A clearer month-end picture

Reconciliation helps surface missing entries and differences between records and bank movements. Resolve queries early to make the next review more useful.

03

Payroll with a review point

Agree the payroll inputs, cut-off and approval process. Changes in pay, new starters and departures should be communicated before the payroll is finalised.

04

A coordinated year-end handover

An organised accounting file makes it easier to share information with the company's appointed tax or audit professionals when their work is required.

FROM NEED TO SUPPORT

Practical support. Clearly scoped.

Use these service areas as a starting point. We agree the work around your company’s circumstances and priorities.

Scope, frequency and deliverables are confirmed before the engagement.

01Accounting services

Support with maintaining organised financial records and preparing useful accounting information.

02Bookkeeping

Routine transaction recording and reconciliation support tailored to your business needs.

03Payroll processing

Support with payroll calculations and related administration based on your agreed scope.

04Support as you grow

Coordinate your accounting and payroll needs alongside your corporate administration.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

A clearer way forward.

STEP 01 / 04

Agree the working rhythm

Review your transaction volume, payroll headcount, existing records and reporting needs. Confirm what is included and who supplies each input.

THE MALAYSIA CONTEXT

Worth knowing from the start.

Monthly tax deductions

Where applicable, employers deduct PCB from remuneration and remit it to HASiL by the 15th of the following month.

Payroll is more than net pay

Employee changes, supporting records and employer reporting need attention alongside the monthly calculation. Confirm the responsibilities included in your engagement.

Keep approvals clear

Agree who provides payroll changes, who reviews the calculation and who authorises payment. A shared deadline helps avoid last-minute corrections.

Reviewed 18 September 2026. General guidance; confirm applicable requirements for your activities with the relevant authority.

BEFORE OUR FIRST CONVERSATION

A little preparation. A better conversation.

You do not need every document to start. Tell us what is available and what is unclear. Share identity documents and other sensitive records only once a suitable channel is agreed.

Start a conversation
  • Latest accounts or opening balances, if available
  • Bank statements, invoices and expense records
  • Employee and remuneration information, when payroll is needed
  • Reporting frequency, current software and outstanding periods

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Your service questions, answered.

Start with the common questions, then talk through the details that matter to your company.

Talk through your needs
01Can you help if our bookkeeping is behind?

We can review the periods involved, the records available and any missing documents. Catch-up work is scoped separately so the volume and priorities are understood before work starts.

02What information is needed for payroll?

Typically, employee details, agreed remuneration, approved changes and relevant attendance or leave information. The exact checklist depends on your payroll arrangements.

03Do accounting services include tax advice or an audit?

Not automatically. Bookkeeping, payroll, tax advice and audit are different scopes. Specialist tax or audit matters should be handled by the appropriate appointed professionals.

04Can you work with our existing accountant?

Share the current responsibilities and software arrangements. We can discuss how record preparation and information handover can fit alongside your existing advisers.
